Formaclad® Curved Profiles
Formaclad curved profiles provide unparalleled scope for creativity in the design of your building
Available in colours and paint finishes to either match or be in contrast with the general cladding, they are ideally suited for dutch barns, nissan huts or temporary storage.
To achieve optimum effective performance and design the following rules should be observed.
Sheeting incorporating curves should be designed one tier at a time onto steelwork that is precisely aligned. (See Fig. 4).
The finished curved sheet will be far more rigid that the plain profile sheet and hence careful planning should be given to installation and sheet runnout. It is recommended that the curved sheet should dictate the runnout rather than the usual modular approach normally possible with standard cladding packages. (See Fig 2, 3 & 4).
The maximum length of sheet to be curved should be limited to 5000mm. However, for ease of use on site it is recommended that the overall length of the curved sheet should be kept to a minimum.
The minimum internal radius is 450mm.
The angle of curvature can range between 3° and 180°
